Category C (Type 1) suppressors are designed to provide the highest protection capacity (200 kA – 600 kA per phase), integrating high-performance modules with robust metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology. Their modular construction allows for quick maintenance and module replacement without interrupting operation, and also offers internal redundancy, ensuring continuous protection even in the event of a module failure.

They feature LED indicators per phase, audible alarms, dry contacts for remote monitoring, and transient counters, providing real-time constant supervision. With NEMA 4 steel enclosures and NEMA 4X encapsulated modules, they are ideal for critical applications in data centers, industrial settings, and large electrical complexes where reliability and availability cannot be compromised.
